My dvd is broken. My dvd of episodes 63-71. It won't play. On anything. I don't know what happened.

Buchou is back. Because he missed all the lingering looks they used to exchange, and now they are making up for lost time. THEY HAVE EYES FOR NO ONE BUT EACH OTHER. :(( LOOK.

Either Tezuka has joined the yakuza or he is cosplaying Yagyuu.



HE LOOKS LIKE HE NEEDS TO BE SNUGGLING SOMEONE SOMETHING. There's plenty of room in the bed, buchou.

Ryoma has just realised that this is the first opportunity he's had to talk to Tezuka alone since he came back.



Look how EAGER he is. :x



Also how ickle. But, but, how can you look at this and say he has no feelings for his Tezuka?



He hangs on every word buchou says! :((



And Tezuka smiles with him. While they have conversations about getting up early and fresh air and how amazing it is to be back together and so close. OK so I may be exaggerating that last part.



"If you tell me to be serious, buchou, I will." Only Tezuka brings out Ryoma's real determination.



THIS SMILE IS ALL FOR RYOMA. For the doubters: you can tell it's a smile because...



...this isn't.



Tezuka is the only one to provoke real, important emotion out of Ryoma. Other people get apathy, vague annoyance, vicious glee, amusement, etc. But Ryoma lets Tezuka see his real feelings - lets him see who he really is. Because he trusts Tezuka. That's HUGE, because Ryoma doesn't trust easily; his father dismisses him at best and mocks the hell out of him at worst, and apart from Karupin he's never had a friend in the world before Seigaku. But he trusts Tezuka; Tezuka was the first person to beat him without humiliating him, the first stronger opponent to take him seriously.



"I still have to beat you, buchou!"
